Sean Landrus from Thompson, Ohio was killed in Iraq 4 years ago. I went to school w/ him and his wife. He left behind 3 children.

I used to work with his wife Chris. She was as strong as she could be during the time of her loss. Great person to work with and an honor that her husband defended our country. A true hero.

Madison Men Remembered on The Vietnam Wall

Richard A. Hamblin--- Madison, Ohio-- Died in Nam 09-21-67
Richard A. Moore-----Madison, Ohio---Died in Nam 01-30-69

These were great 'kids'. Both died with less then a year of military service under their belt.
Both were 20 years old when they died for our country. I knew both of them very well and have not and will not ever forget them.

I remember them, too, Missc. God bless them. And remember Phil Siefert from MMHS Class of 1965. He went down on the Scorpion nuclear sub, somewhere just off the Azores. Good guy. Loved bowling, dancing, dating, being with groups of friends.

Remember Phil's Corvette? Blue and White I think. He was proud of that car and yes he was a good guy. Had lunch with Dodi and we talked about it and I believe the final determination was that it was an accident.

Also Bernard "Buddy" Swiger --- Madison, Ohio--- Died in Nam Dec 11, 1970

They lived on West Main. I grew up with his brother, I remember when he was killed. His brother Jimmy was in the Army and was killed in Germany several months later.
